Rating methodology

How future operator ratings will be researched and calculated

No operator receives a score until its identity, local permission and customer journey have been checked. A large bonus or a familiar brand cannot compensate for an unresolved legal or withdrawal risk.

Eligibility comes first

We identify the operating company, the exact website or application, the claimed licence and the country in which the service is offered.

An operator that cannot demonstrate relevant permission is not eligible for a positive recommendation, regardless of product quality.

  • Named legal entity
  • Current licence or legal basis
  • Authorised domain
  • Adult eligibility and location controls

Evidence and testing

Published terms, regulator registers and official notices take priority over marketing claims. When accounts can be lawfully tested, we document registration, verification, deposits, withdrawals and support responses.

A test date and the evidence behind each material conclusion must be stored so that a later change can be detected.

Scoring model

The planned score covers legal confidence, payments and withdrawals, product rules, customer support, transparency and safer-gambling controls.

Critical failures can cap or remove a score. We will not average a serious licensing or withdrawal problem away with a strong games catalogue.

Review cycle

Material changes trigger a new review. Licences, ownership, domains, terms and payment routes are checked on a schedule and after credible complaints.

Expired evidence causes the affected claim or recommendation to be withheld until it is verified again.
