How PoaGuide researches, writes and corrects its work
Our editorial process is designed to keep legal facts, safety information and commercial activity distinguishable. Every country conclusion must be traceable to evidence and a review date.
Source hierarchy
We prefer legislation, official gazettes, court decisions, regulator registers and government publications. Operator pages may explain their own terms but cannot prove their own legal status.
Where public records are incomplete, the article says so instead of converting an assumption into a fact.
Writing and review
Country texts are written for the specific jurisdiction and divided by gambling category. Dates, legal uncertainty and regional differences are retained.
Machine translation may be used as a production step, but translated legal content remains marked for native review until terminology and meaning have been checked.
Corrections
Factual corrections are assessed against the best available source. Material changes are updated in the research record and the page review date.
A commercial partner receives no right to suppress criticism. Requests must identify the disputed statement and provide supporting evidence.
Safety and prohibited claims
We do not describe gambling as income, promise wins, publish fixed-match claims or target minors. Responsible-gambling information remains accessible independently of commercial pages.
Medical emergencies and gambling harm require qualified local help; editorial content is not a substitute for care.
