Independent gambling information, organised country by country
PoaGuide is building a practical reference for African gambling markets. We begin with law, public authorities and player protection; operator recommendations will appear only after a separate evidence-based review.
Why the project exists
Rules that apply in one African market may be irrelevant across the border. National laws, state or provincial powers, payment access and enforcement practice can all change the answer.
PoaGuide gives each country its own research record rather than presenting one continental ranking as if it applied everywhere.
What we publish now
The current edition covers casinos, sports betting, predictions and lotteries, together with responsible-gambling resources and regulator contacts.
Placeholder operator names are demonstrations of the future interface. They are not endorsements, reviews or links to gambling services.
What independence means
Commercial relationships cannot alter a legal conclusion, remove a material warning or purchase a ranking position. Research and commercial records are kept separate.
If affiliate links are introduced, every affected page will identify them and explain how the site may be paid.
Limits of the guide
The site provides general information, not legal, medical or financial advice. Laws and official practice can change after publication.
Readers should confirm important decisions with the named authority or a qualified local professional.
